There are more pieces of plastic in the ocean than stars in the Milky Way galaxy.

According to this publication up to 14 million tons of plastic enters the ocean annually, 40 percent of which is considered “single-use”, which means it goes into the water within the same year that it was produced.

Meanwhile the team over at #STORH are tackling the plastic problem in a different way by helping reduce the plastic entering the eco-system.

Polystream is an initiative that uses a process called Pyrolysis to turn plastic waste back into fuel so that it can be used over and over again (plastic-to-fuel recycling).

The STORH company have ambitions to rollout 100 of these pyrolysis recycling plants out globally.
